What Is a Document Camera and How It Works? A document camera is a device that can project and magnify images of objects, paper notes, and transparencies. It is described as being similar to an old overhead projector that almost every classroom consisted of in the past. However, a document camera is more modern, smaller, and can work remotely over Wi-Fi.Majority of users would classify document cameras as high-resolution webcams that have arms to ensure their placement over documents, objects, or papers. Teachers, professors, and world-wide educators find document cameras to be very useful because they can write notes on paper and then present the notes to the audience of students through the document camera. The document camera works by taking a picture of whatever object is placed underneath it and producing a live picture that multiple people can view at once. Depending on what type of document camera you purchase and how much you are able to spend, each has their own flexibility when it comes to placement of objects and forms.   Some document cameras allow two or three-dimensional objects to be placed in front of the camera, and others just focus on what is placed beneath them. Some classrooms have installed mounted document cameras from the ceilings to give the camera a bigger working area to project and magnify photos.   https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_450141.html WHAT IS A DOCUMENT CAMERA? 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

Optical bonding is the process of gluing the touchscreen glass to the LCD cell in order to completely fill the air gap between them. This is done to improve overall performance, decrease the total display weight, and make the touchscreen sturdier. Traditionally, interactive displays are attached to LCD cells with adhesive tape by the edges of the screen glass. This creates an air gap between the LCD cell and the screen glass that is detrimental to the performance of the display no matter how thin the air gap is. The gap results in setbacks which include a more fragile screen glass, loss of touch accuracy, and a narrower viewing angle, among others. There are many benefits that come with the optical bonding of a display, all which enhance the performance of the interactive display in varying conditions and allow a greater range of application needs to be met. Here are the top 6 benefits: 1. Greater durability The optical bonding process better protects both the cover glass and LCD cell from shock, as the hardened adhesive behind the glass acts as a shock absorber. Shake and shocks are less likely to damage the display and glass, making it an important benefit for transportation applications. In the unlikely event that the glass is damaged, shards of broken glass will remain stuck to the optical adhesive, making it an important benefit for safety reasons in classrooms and meeting rooms. 2. Improved viewing experience An optically bonded display eliminates the internal reflection between the screen glass and the LCD cell. This results in improved contrast, which enables the display to be better seen in brighter environments. Additionally, the elimination of internal reflection provides a wider viewing angle, allowing the display to be seen more clearly from wider angles in bigger rooms. Whether you have student desks at the front corners of the classroom, or you have to cram seats up the front sides of the meeting room, everyone will be able to see the screen clearly without reflection.  3. Improved touch experience Optical bonding reduces parallax, the refraction angle of light which makes the physical location of a pen or finger on the glass appear to be different from the corresponding point on the LCD, depending on your line of sight. This leads to inaccuracy of touch and a poor user experience. Optical bonding removes the air gap, which eliminates parallax to give you the most accurate touch, for the most natural and reliable experience.4. Reduced Glare The same principle is applied when an external source of light hits the screen. With an non-bonded screen, the gap between the glass and LCD module creates opportunities for refraction which bounces external light back off the screen to the viewer as glare. When bonded together the light passes through the bonded layers and is absorbed somewhat into the screen. Optical bonding is therefore important in making screens sunlight readable.   5. Increase Accuracy A touch monitor with optical bonding maintains a more accurate touch response because the pressure is maintained through the substrate, rather than being delayed by a gap 6.Prevent Condensation The most obvious benefit to adding a resin bonding layer between the glass and LCD module is that it physically prevents dust and liquid ingress from getting between the two. The quality of manufacturing means that dust and water isn’t a big problem for screens in standard environments. What can be a problem however is condensation getting between the glass and LCD panel in environments with wide temperature ranges or fluctuating humidity. Condensation can cause screens to become foggy from moisture that penetrates the air gap. Again, the physical filling of the gap prevents this problem from arising. Optical bonding should therefore be considered for any outdoor application as well as indoor applications where consistent temperatures aren't maintained. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_448009.html WHAT IS OPTICAL BONDING PROCESS? 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

An SSD is much better for gaming than an HDD, period. Traditional hard-disk drives simply cannot compete with the kind of performance that solid-state drives offer, and the gaming industry is ready to move forward. SSDs are much cheaper than they were only a few years ago, not to mention that even the 9th generation consoles, the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, will also be using SSDs for storage. So, you should definitely pick an SSD as your primary system drive if you can afford it. If you’re really pinching pennies and need more storage than what you can get in an SSD that fits your budget, using a smaller SSD as your main drive while also using an HDD for storage is always an option. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_450137.html SSD VS. A direct LED backlight is a backlight whose LED matrix is positioned directly behind the panel. In contrast, an edge LED backlight only has LEDs positioned along the edges of the screen, using “light guides” to spread the light across the entire surface of the display. The main advantage of direct LED lies in the fact that it can provide higher brightness, as well as better backlight and black uniformity. However, displays that utilize this type of backlight tend to be bulkier and more power-hungry compared to those that use edge LED. Moreover, the contrast is usually not as good with direct LED displays, and blacks typically appear as dark shades of gray. Edge LED, as we have mentioned above, only has LEDs along the edges of the screen. As you might have guessed, this is more power-efficient and allows for thinner, sleeker, and better-looking TVs and monitors. On the downside, however, Edge LED is more likely to suffer from clouding and backlight bleed issues, particularly around the edges. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_450136.html WHAT ARE DIRECT LED AND EDGE LED? 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

WHAT IS A QHD MONITOR? A QHD (Quad High Definition) monitor is a high-end PC accessory that can display 2560x1440 pixels at a 16x9 aspect ratio, which is four times the quality of 720p standard high definition. An Ultra Wide QHD monitor boosts the horizontal pixels to 3440, giving you a 21x9 aspect ratio. You’ll sometimes see QHD referred to as a Quad HD monitor. The entire range has a variety of connectivity options to ensure your monitor can be plugged into any desktop PC or laptop. When gamers look for a new screen, a QHD monitor is the perfect choice for them, because of their size and quality, and they are suitable for most mid-range gaming setups. The majority of mid-range graphics cards can handle putting a game on a QHD monitor at 30 FPS in 2K resolution. What's a full HD monitor? What's a Full HD monitor? The simple answer is one with 1080p image resolution. But there's more to know than just that. Here's a simple tutorial to help you decide if Full HD – or other options such as plain HD or QHD or UHD – is the best option for your new computer monitor. HD vs. Full HD vs. Quad HD vs. Ultra HD and 4K When it comes to display screens, the more pixels the better. Why? Because all else being equal, an image with more pixels can be can be displayed at larger sizes without suffering picture degradation. Here are the four most popular types of display definitions today. All of them have 16:9 aspect ratios and qualify as high resolution displays, but to varying degrees: HD: 720p image resolution (1,280 pixels wide x 720 pixels tall – approx. 1 million total pixels) Full HD (FHD): 1080p image resolution (1,920 x 1,080 – approx. 2 million total pixels) Quad HD (QHD): 1440p image resolution (2,560 x 1,440 – approx. 4 million total pixels) Ultra HD (UHD)/4K: 2160p image resolution (3,840 x 2,160 – approx. 8 million total pixels) Note that Quad HD offers four times the resolution as regular HD, and Ultra HD/4K offers four times the resolution as Full HD.  There's another type of HD, called 4K, that's specific to movie theater and cinematic displays and has slightly higher pixel totals (it uses an even wider, 256:135 aspect ratio). Yet many consumer-level manufacturers use the terms Ultra HD and 4K interchangeably. Similarly, the term HD is sometimes used to describe both 720p and 1080p displays, but the term Full HD is used only to describe 1080p-level models. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_448012.html WHICH DISPLAY RESOLUTION IS RIGHT FOR ME? 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

What Is Refresh Rate on a Device? To put it simply, a refresh rate refers to the number of times your screen refreshes the display per second. Measured in hertz (Hz), it’s sometimes referred to as the flickering frequency. Refresh Rate vs Frame Rate Frame rate is the frequency in which videos and games can display frames. Basically, when you’re watching a video, you’re looking at hundreds of still frames, flashing one after another to make it look like it’s moving. Measured in frames per second (fps), video games are usually at 30 to 60 fps while YouTube caps out at 60 fps. If your GPU is capable of displaying 120 fps, a 60 Hz monitor can only show half of those frames. On the other hand, a 120 Hz monitor will be wasted on a GPU that can only show 60 fps. Can Refresh Rate Affect Your Gaming Performance? If you often play first-person shooter games: Global Offensive, then a higher refresh rate can really make a difference. For starters, the more frames that a monitor is showing, the more information the player has. When you have more data in your hands, the better you are at making split second decisions which are crucial for fast-paced action. A higher refresh rate also reduces input lag. This is the time that passes between you making a move and your monitor showing that action. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_448011.html IS A HIGHER REFRESH RATE BETTER FOR YOUR EYES? 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

1. Brightness The first benefit of LED walls over projection displays is the brightness. LED walls are brighter than projection displays, and this is why most AV rental Companies will recommend LED screens to you. One thing to note is that LED screens are measured in NIT, which is a direct light measurement. On the other hand, projection lights are measured in lux, which is a direct light measurement. Besides, a unit of NIT equals 3.426 lux. So in light of this, a unit of NIT is brighter than a unit of lux. Also, over the years, projectors tend to lose their brightness. And regardless of how bright the projector looks when you first get them, you should expect that it would lose up to 30% of its brightness before the end of its lifespan. With outdoor LED video walls, you won’t experience any of these. 2. Maintenance LED walls are very easy to maintain and repair. This is because the makers of these LED walls designed them to be zero maintenance. Often, what you need is an update to the programming software. Besides, even if you need to replace a component in the LED video wall, you can do it yourself, provided that you have basic knowledge of hand tools. The case is different with projectors as you need to carry out maintenance on its components constantly. For example, you need to clean and maintain its fans, bulbs, lens, etc., often to keep it in optimum condition. 3. HD Display If you want crystal clear HD videos at your outdoor or indoor events, then you should be choosing LED wall screens. All LED screens support HD display due to the use of Surface Mount Diode technology. However, this is not the same with many projectors, as most still use Standard Definition. This means these projectors won’t display HD pictures at full resolution. 4. Contrast For a projector to work, you have to project images on a whiteboard or screen. The problem with this is that because white backgrounds do not give room for a true dark tone, the images projected might appear hazy. In light of this, most projectors cannot show the ideal contrast of a picture, which means you cannot get HD images or videos. However, the LED wall technology design allows for it to show the actual contrast of the images or videos on it. So, with a LED wall, rest assured that you will be getting true dark tones and super clear images from any distance. 5. Lifespan Another benefit of the LED walls over projectors is that projectors have a shorter lifespan than LED video technologies. You will find most LED video walls with excellent quality to have a lifespan of up to 10 years. On the other hand, the highest warranty you will find on the highest quality projector is three years. This goes to show that projectors are not expected to last for so long. 6. Cost-Effectiveness Although LED walls are more expensive than projectors, LED walls are still more cost-effective than projectors. The reason is that because a projector needs constant maintenance, changing of components, etc., it can become more expensive than LED walls over time. In addition, over the course of the projector’s lifespan, you might have to change its bulbs and light engines, and they do not come cheap. Asides from that, projectors also consume more energy than LED walls. Because of this, you will find LED video walls saving you extra dollars in energy costs when you use them over projector displays. 7. Setup Setting up projector displays isn’t an easy task as many factors can affect the view from the projector screen. First, you need to ensure that the projector projects the image or video directly to the wall or board without any hindrance. Any obstacle that gets in front of the projector will affect the projector’s display regardless of how small. The room’s brightness also affects projection displays, and you need to have an almost dark room to get the best views from projectors. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_450135.html LED SCREENS VS. PROJECTOR 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

1. IT IS A RELIABLE TECHNOLOGY THAT IS RECOGNIZED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD There are those who consider the LED to be one of the great inventions of the 20th century. In fact, it is widely used in panels, television screens, mobile phones, Blu-Ray players and even in the medical field. Without going any further, it should not be forgotten that the creators of blue LED light received the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2014. 2. EMITS HIGH QUALITY IMAGES With LED displays, you’ll have the peace of mind that comes from broadcasting business information with unbeatable definition and color range. You can also add lighting effects for even greater impact. And with advice from the LED display experts, you’ll be able to give the recipient a perfect viewing angle no matter where they are. 3. IT OFFERS VERY LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION The first big advantage of LED technology is its energy efficiency. And just to show you, one button: an LED bulb consumes up to 10 times less energy than a conventional incandescent bulb. That’s why it’s a perfect ally to save electricity in your business. 4. YOU CAN EASILY INCREASE ITS POWER LED signs not only stand out because of their incredible power, but this power can also be increased. For a few years now, lenses have been available that accentuate the beam angle and therefore optimize the diffusion power of LEDs, providing more homogeneous illumination than equivalent products in terms of consumption. 5. IT IS MORE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY THAN OTHER SIMILAR PRODUCTS Limiting energy consumption helps to reduce the environmental impact of any business. In turn, the extended durability of the device helps to save materials and travel to ensure maintenance and possible repairs. During operation, LEDs only emit light and some heat, but no infrared or ultraviolet radiation. As LEDs offer a high level of illumination power, using this technology in illuminated signs is not only a saving, but are also environmentally sustainable. 6. IT OFFERS A LONG LIFESPAN Another advantage of LED signs over their competitors has to do with their durability. To better understand this point, it is enough to compare them with other lighting sources commonly used in the sector. Here are some figures on their lifespan. – Fluorescent tube: 3,000 hours. – Neon tube: 30,000 hours. – LED: 50,000 hours (taking a luminous sign that stays on for 3,000 hours a year as a reference). However, in some cases they can even reach 100,000 hours. 7. LED DISPLAYS ARE PROGRAMMABLE With LED displays, their location will no longer be a problem, as you can program them from anywhere. All you have to do is have a device with an Internet connection. This way, you will achieve more efficient advertisements, since you will be able to adapt the advertising to each time zone. In this way, you can adapt the advertising messages to different buyer personas, which will entail an optimization of the advertising impact and, therefore, a greater profitability of the LED display. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_450134.html WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF LED DISPLAYS? 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

The all-in-one (AIO) PC combines a desktop computer, including the processor, memory, graphics, and storage, with a monitor and speakers into a single piece of equipment. This means you can’t separate the computer from the monitor. That makes it similar to a laptop, though an AIO is larger and designed to sit stationary on a desk. What makes AiO PCs special?  It takes up less space. With the monitor built right into the PC, you have fewer things to fit into already-tight spaces. The overall design is more compact, too. It’s easier to set up and start using. All-in-ones are the most “plug-and-play” option available. It comes with everything. There’s no need to shop around for the best monitor or speakers. You get exactly what you need to use it – right out of the box. It’s easy to transport. While all-in-ones are typically part of a stationary workstation, they’re not complicated to move. They’re usually on the lighter side, allowing you to move it elsewhere with little fuss. It can come with a touch screen. Today’s all-in-ones use the latest monitor tech, including brilliant color displays and responsive touch options. Here are some CONS to consider: It’s harder to upgrade. Again, the design makes getting inside the device complicated. Also, there may be less room available for upgrades, so adding storage or larger fans may be difficult – if not impossible. It’s not customizable. Aside from a few options at checkout, buying an all-in-one means you get what you get. You can’t mix in a monitor from a different manufacturer, either. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_450133.html WHAT IS AN ALL-IN-ONE COMPUTER? 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

IPS Panel IPS stands for in-panel switching and are the best quality LCD panels at present. However, they also have a premium price tag compared to other types due to their higher quality of images, color reproduction, and viewing angles. If you need a monitor for intensive and color-dependent tasks like graphic design, animation, and parts designing, IPS displays would be your best bet. The viewing angles can be up to 178 degrees on higher-end models so they are preferred if people want a multi-screen display. However, IPS panels are not the best in every aspect when it comes to LCD displays. The response times are a tad bit slower compared to TN panels and range between 5-16ms. So, for gaming purposes, unless you can buy the higher-end IPS LCD’s, your better option would be TN LCD’s. IPS panels are again differentiated as S-IPS, H-IPS, E-IPS, and P-IPS. But, the difference between them is very nominal. VA Panel VA stands for vertical alignment technology and is the middle ground for LCD panels. VA’s are known for their superior image quality compared to IPS panels. The contrast levels and black uniformity offered by VA’s are far superior compared to IPS. However, the viewing angles of VA’s are the major dealbreaker when comparing with other LCD panels. Even a slight tilt in angle makes the screen unviewable and so they are only used for a handful of purposes. The response times offered by VA panels are also below par and are definitely not preferred for gaming. Some users have also reported a delay in response while doing basic tasks such as typing. There was a time when all LCD TV’s were using VA panels, but as IPS image quality improved, the manufacturers traded a slightly higher image quality for overall better features. TN Panel TN display stands for twisted nematic display and is the most affordable and widely used panel at present. The USP of TN displays is definitely a very high response time. It varies between 1-5ms, which is way higher than any other LCD panel, making it ideal for gaming and other high-intensity activities. However, the tradeoff in TN displays is the very low image quality compared to an IPS or VA panel. This is largely attributed to the 6-bit configuration as compared to the 8-bit configuration in IPS and VA panels. The lower bits mean that the TN panel cannot display the whole range of colors like an IPS or VA panel. Dithering is a tech that has been adopted to overcome this con, but it still can’t make the image quality even compared to other LCD panels. TN panels are currently used extensively in offices around the world and unless IPS panels become cheaper, that will remain the case. The comparison of IPS/VA/TN panel. https://www.innovtech.tw/hot_448010.html TYPES OF LCD PANELS 2024-03-30 2025-03-30

Type of NAND Flash Memory Industrial Grade uses SLC (Single Level Cell) NAND versus Commercial Grade MLC (Multi Level Cell) as the storage medium for data. SLC NAND has 20-30 times more endurance cycles than MLC NAND and has significantly better data retention life and functionality at extreme temperatures.Firmware AlgorithmsIndustrial Grade products have sophisticated Wear Leveling, Defect Management and Error Checking & Correction (ECC), along with many trade secret techniques developed to deliver reliability across a wide range of applications and environments. Commercial Grade firmware, with its shorter life cycles, is developed to with time to market and cost as its primary goals. Product Life CyclesIndustrial Grade products exist for >10 years in many cases with as few as 2 Product Change Notifications during that time. The Commercial Grade products typically have lives of 12-18 months. Supported Temperature RangesIndustrial Grade products have off the shelf extended temperature ratings of -45C to 90C. In addition, they can be screen tested to much higher and lower temperatures. Commercial Grade products are typically rated at only 0C to 70C or in many cases not rated. We have been able to screen test some Commercial Grade devices to wider temp ranges, but Industrial Grade is by far more reliable at temperature.
